Here’s an album of the five days I spent in Berlin (well, four in Berlin and one in Potsdam, a city just east of Berlin). Many of the sites aren’t ones I wanted to photograph, such as the Holocaust Memorial. Others didn’t make for good photos because of the weather or their location, such as the bombed-out spire of Kaiser-Wilhelm-Gedächtniskirche (Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church) and the Sanssouci Palace.

Give the page a minute to load. Then, click on any photo to launch a slideshow, which allows you to see the captions.
