I selected from highlights from the 450+ photos I took (and the photos I received from people who had better cameras) during my trip to the Galápagos Islands. When you finish with these, you can click over to part 2.

This album has a lot of sea lions (be glad photos do not capture smells), my injury (torn-up grommet on the side of the dinghy tore up the back of my leg), the cactus trees on South Plaza Island, iguanas, and  swallow-tailed gulls (with beautiful red-ringed eyes).

The photos were taken on Mosquera Islet (so small it isn’t a full island) in the afternoon and on South Plaza Island the next morning.
